There are two camping pods onsite for a simple getaway to the great outdoors as well as a selection of touring and camping pitches plus holiday homes. A 20 minute walk away is the local pub and farm shop, and there is a play park onsite for little ones!

About the site

A great base for your Lake District adventure, this caravan park is just a 15 minute drive from Ullswater, Aira Force and Keswick making it perfect placed for exploring the area and outdoor adventures! The site is small with just two camping pods, each fully insulated and has a heater, there is a window towards the back of the pod and lockable doors at the front with glass panes with a blind and curtains to keep the morning light out. Each pod has a parking space next to it to make unpacking the car hassle free! The pods are the perfect weatherproof alternative to camping and can sleep up to four guests with bench seating (with storage underneath) plus a table that can fold down into a double bed. Then there are two single beds, one of which can be stored away when not in use. You will also have a kettle and microwave to make simple meals, there are also USB charging points so you can still use your devices. Outside is a gravel area with a picnic bench and area for a disposable BBQ, which can be purchased onsite. Remember to bring your bedding, bed linen, towels and toiletries, you may also need a torch for walking to the facilities at night time. Shared facilities are just a short walk away with toilets, showers with a laundry and washroom. There is also a bus route just 200m from the site that runs throughout summer to West Cumrbia via Keswick - perfect if you want to leave the car behind. The pods do not allow dogs, but there are static caravans, touring pitches and camping pitches onsite which are dog friendly so you may see some pups about.

Site facilities include two toilets blocks with hot water and no push-button showers. There is also a laundry service with washroom and a children's play area, along with a dog walk.

The Herdwick Inn is a 15 minute walk away, serving food and drink. The Miler Farm Shop is also just a 20 minute walk away with delicious local produce. There is a public bus route within 200m of the site, which runs to West Cumbria via Keswick through the summer.
