About the site

Ideally situated for exploring the Lake District National Park, you'll be within easy reach of Ullswater, Aira Force and Scafell Pike from this family friendly glamping site. Set on a caravan park, you'll also have use of the shop and play park. There are two glamping pods, five glamping cabins and one accessible glamping pod which is also dog friendly. The accessible pod has level entry, wide doors and 1.5m turning circles. Perfect for families of four, the ensuite glamping cabins have a pull-down double bed, a single sofa bed and a single bunk bed. The glamping cabin can sleep up to six guests, four adults and two children on a pull-down double bed at the rear, a double sofa bed and twin beds on a mezzanine level. The accessible pod has two twin beds with orthopaedic mattresses. Bedding and bed linen is provided so no need to pack your own. You'll also have a TV and Bluetooth speakers for cosying up in the evenings in front of your favourite film. The accommodations are also insulated, have heating and double glazed doors. There is a small kitchen area in the ensuite pods, a slightly larger kitchen in the glamping cabins and the accessible pods have a custom built kitchen. The kitchenettes have a kettle, toaster, gas hob, microwave and fridge, utensils are also provided including a corkscrew, tin opener, cutlery holder, knife set, cooking spoon, slotted spoon, spatula, two saucepans and a chopping board. Plates, bowls, cutlery, tumblers, wine glasses and mugs are also provided. The glamping cabin has the addition of an electric hob, oven, cafetiere, teapot, egg cups, two roasting dishes, a baking tray, beer mugs and oven gloves. All accommodation has an ensuite with a shower, sink and toilet with a bath mat and two toilet rolls provided, three for the glamping cabin. Either bring towels or hire them from the site. The accessible pod's bathroom has a shower chair and grab rails. For storage, there is a wardrobe with coat hangers, a cupboard and a fold away dining table. Outside each, is a decking with a table, chairs and a parasol as well as a brick-built BBQ station with one disposable BBQ supplied. There is also a box outside for muddy shoes plus a bin, dustpan and brush, hand wash, antibacterial spray and a cloth. There is a shop onsite for essential supplies and a play park for little ones. Next door is an outdoor activity centre where you can book horse riding, archery and assault courses.
