The Wildings Campsite

The Wildlings Campsite is set in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, just a 15 minute walk to Bourton-on-the-Water offering rustic glamping options and camping pitches. The pods are perfect for a couples getaway or a family break to enjoy the great outdoors with an onsite farm shop, cook house and a fairy trail. The pods are fully insulated and decorated with fairy lights and have a fire pit and grill outside. Dog friendly too.

About the site

There are six camping pods onsite, five which are set together and one on it's own, each fully insulated and heated perfect for stays no matter the season. The pods measure 4m x 4m and have an open plan interior with lighting, an electric heater and plug sockets. The pods can sleep up to five with a built-in double bed with a sheet and extra camp beds with sheets provided for extra guests. Fresh linen and towels are available to hire if needed, or bring your own. The pods are decorated with fairy lights and bunting. A tableware bundle and cooking accessories including a chopping board, knife, scissors, utensils, bottle opener, tea towels, mugs, crockery, cutlery, pans and a kettle for all your cooking needs. Plus, there is a window at the back of the pod and the door has glass panes too which there is a curtain for each to block out the light in the mornings. Outside is a fire pit with a grill and box of logs for attempting cooking over a campfire or for simply toasting marshmallows under the starry night sky, or, you can hire a bucket BBQ or Ooni pizza oven. There are also deck chairs available to hire plus a cosy bundle with blankets, hot water bottles and hot chocolate. You can also hire a travel cot. There are also camping pitches, a bell tent, tipis and a yurt onsite. Facilities are shared with all guests staying, there are hot showers and flushing toilets, plus two family rooms with a baby changing station. There is a covered outdoor washing up area as well as wheelbarrows to help you transport your luggage from your car. You can also hire the BBQ hut, perfect for groups! All guests also have access to the 'Cook House' where there is a fully fitted kitchen equipped with two fridges plus an area to chill with sofas, games and books. There is also a farm shop onsite with an old fashioned sweet shop where little ones can weigh out their own sweets, a milkshake bar and cafe! There is also a fairy door hunt and a play area around for them to burn off some energy whilst you sit back and unwind. Or, take your four legged friend on a scenic walk with lots of trails on your doorstep with country pubs and beautiful farmland on the way too!
