Nestled between the Tay Forest Park and Cairngorms National Park, the site makes a great base for exploring the picturesque landscapes of Highland Perthshire. Site facilities include five heated toilet blocks, some with disabled and baby changing facilities, a dishwashing area, a launderette and a drying room.

For the kids, there are numerous outdoor areas and a playground on site. For rainy days, there is a games room that offers table tennis, table football, two pool tables, a giant Connect 4 and a TV. Segway tours and bike hire are available too.

After a day of activities, you can unwind at the Atholl Beauty Room which offers massages, beauty treatments, and alternative therapies.

The Shieling serves a range of locally sourced food and drink throughout the season, they provide everything you need for a delicious breakfast on the go or evening pizza. You are able to check-in from 4pm to 9:30pm, if you are delayed please let the site know. Check out is due before 12pm.
