About the site
Whether you're after a fishing holiday or looking to explore the Somerset countryside and coast this site has it all. From the three fishing lakes to the 13 acres of land, this family and dog friendly site offers guests country views while being a great base to explore all that this breathtaking part of the country has to offer. For a hassle free getaway, there is a range of cosy and colourful camping pods to choose from. All camping pods include a double bed but the three family friendly camping pods also include two single futon beds, perfect if the kids are coming along too. Inside is a kettle, crockery, cutlery as well as wine glasses and champagne flutes for if you're celebrating something special. There is also heating, electric and USB charging points, a TV and DVD player, a small table and chairs and a chest of drawers. For al fresco dinners, you will have your very own fire pit and grill with a picnic bench outside. There is also parking next to your pod. Please make sure to bring your own bedding and towels. The site also offers grass and hardstanding pitches for campers and tourers. Fishing is available in all of the three onsite lakes. You don't have to be an expert to take on fishing this holiday, with fishing equipment available to hire from the onsite shop. Along with fishing supplies the shop also stocks drinks and snacks. The little ones will be entertained for hours with the onsite games room including a dartboard and foosball! Dogs are more than welcome to join you for your stay in the camping pods, they can even use the designated dog shower! BBQs are permitted so long as they are raised off of the ground. Open fires are only allowed in raised fire pits.
