Located on a family run farm in the Lake District, Kentmere Pods offers a relaxing glamping getaway, only 15 minutes from Windemere. There are just four pods onsite, with one being dog friendly. Each offers a cosy interior with a comfy bed, sofa bed, kitchenette, ensuite and more. You can even hire a fire pit and BBQ to make the most of your outdoor space and glorious views of the Kentmere Valley!

About the site
A peaceful base for exploring the southern Lake District. Surrounded by scenic walking and cycling routes with Windemere only 15 minutes away, you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to outdoor adventures. If you love open spaces, stunning views and seeing a diversity of wildlife, this could be the spot for you! Each pod comes fully furnished, sleeping up to four guests. There is a proper double bed, an L-shaped double sofa bed with bed linen provided too. A kitchenette includes all the essentials for cooking up a tasty meal. You will have a fridge, kitchen sink, microwave, toaster, kettle, crockery and utensils. A dining table and chairs also provide you with somewhere to enjoy eating together. At the back of the pod, you will find your own modern ensuite. The wetroom includes a shower, toilet and hand basin. Please note, towels are not provided but can be hired for an extra cost. To keep you nice and warm, even in the cooler months, each of the pods comes with underfloor heating. Each also includes lighting and electric sockets, though WiFi is not included so make sure to download any movies you want to watch before you arrive! Lockable French doors lead you to your own outdoor space. Here you will find a wooden decking and stone patio, with outdoor seating and a picnic bench. Fire pits and BBQs can also be hired for your stay, perfect for a spot of al fresco cooking as you admire the views over the Kentmere Valley. One of the pods is also dog friendly, welcoming up to one pup to join you for your stay. The other three pods are dog free.
