Kiss Wood Cabins

Set just outside of Wincle on a working farm, Kiss Wood Cabins provides the ultimate countryside escape. The pods are complete with a double bed and a double sofa bed, perfect for a family adventure or romantic getaway, you will also have an ensuite and kitchenette as well as outside seating and your own BBQ. Two pods also have a jacuzzi hot tub, the perfect spot for stargazing! All pods are dog friendly and provide towels and bed linen.

About the site

Enjoy the benefits of being close to nature without sacrificing comfort at this picturesque glamping site boasting wonderful views towards the Shell Brook Valley. There are just three pods set hillside, behind the farm buildings to make the most of the views. All pods feature an open plan interior, with heating and double-glazed windows to keep you toasty no matter the weather. Inside each of the pods is a double bed at the rear and a double sofa bed towards the front for sleeping little ones, so whether you're travelling solo, as a couple or as a family, these pods are just the thing! Also inside the pods you will find a TV, a fold-out dining table for meals or a night in playing your favourite board game! The pods are also fitted with a small kitchenette which includes a hob, microwave, sink, kettle, and toaster as well as all the crockery, utensils and cutlery you may need. There will also be washing up liquid, tea towels and a sponge. Then next to the double bed is an ensuite with a shower, loo, sink and heated towel rail. Towels and bedding are provided so no need to add it to your packing list! The pods are also fitted with plug sockets and USB points to keep you connected throughout your stay. Outside you will find a small porch area that leads to a private gravel area outside each pod, here there is a picnic bench and umbrella, a BBQ, fire pit and deck chairs for sitting out in the evening looking up to the starry night sky. Choose the Woodland Star or Forget Me Not pod to have a jacuzzi hot tub too! You can watch wildlife from your doorstep, with deer often spotted roaming past the front of the pods. The site is dog friendly, with up to two permitted per pod.

Facilities are self contained and each pod includes an ensuite bathroom and kitchenette. All pods share the same paddock outside but each has its own private area and facilities.

Your closest shop will be Gawsworth Community Shop, a 15 minute drive away. The Ship Inn will be your nearest pub, a five minute drive or 25 minute walk from site.
