About the site
Nestled on the edge of the Lake District, these ensuite glamping pods are the perfect base for a hiking holiday or a family getaway full of adventure. Set on a working farm, you'll be able to watch grazing sheep and cows from your pod! There are three pods onsite all are fully insulated and have double glazed windows and underfloor heating to keep you toasty no matter what time of year you visit. You'll have views towards the North Lakes Fells from your pod, a great view for your morning brew! One pod sleeps up to four with a double bed and a sofa bed that converts into a double bed, the other two pods can sleep up to five with an additional single bunk above the double bed, suitable for children up to 10 years old. Bedding, duvets and pillows are included in your booking. All feature open plan interiors and are complete with a dining table and chairs, TV and an ensuite bathroom. The bathroom includes a heated towel rail, wash basin, toilet and shower. Please bring your own towels and toiletries. You'll be fully equipped for self-catering too with each pod featuring a kitchenette with a two ring induction hob, oven with grill, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and cooking utensils. Outside each pod is a private decking area with a picnic bench, great for dining al fresco and admiring the panoramic countryside views. There is also space for one car beside each pod. Whether you want a thrilling hiking holiday with your sights set on the fells like Grisedale Pike or you want a family adventure where you can windsurf or canoe around the lakes, these pods make an excellent base! This site does not allow dogs.
