Stay in the heart of the Lake District for a holiday full of adventure, with watersports like windsurfing and canoeing just 400m away! This relaxed site offers a range of glamping accommodations along with great facilities like a playground, shop and laundry room! The camping pods are the closest accommodations to the water so if you're wanting an action-packed holiday full of water sports these pods are in a great spot. Each sleeps up to two with a double futon bed and a single camp bed if required. Inside are camping chairs, heating, electric and lighting. You will need to bring your own bedding, cooking equipment, utensils, towels and toiletries. You will have access to shared facilities with other guests onsite. Or, the glamping pods and cabins are perfect if you don't want to pack up the car too much! The ensuite glamping pods sleep up to four with a double sofa bed and bunk bed, whereas the glamping cabins sleep up to six on a double sofa bed, a dining table that folds out into a double bed and twin beds on a mezzanine level. The accessible cabin has two twin beds with orthopaedic mattresses and a separate bunk room for an adult and a child. There are also custom accessible features such as a minimum 1.5m turning circle, level access, a heavy duty laminate floor and a wet room with accessible features. For cooking in the ensuite glamping pod and cabin, there is a fully equipped kitchenette complete with a kettle, toaster, microwave oven, fridge and hob. The accessible cabin has a slightly smaller kitchen. You will also be provided with a corkscrew, tin opener, cutler, knife set, cooking spoon, a slotted spoon, a spatula, a small and medium saucepan and a chopping board. Tableware is included with dinner and side plates, bowls, tumblers, mugs and two wine glasses. There is an ensuite bathroom inside with a shower, sink and toilet. Two toilet rolls and a bath mat are provided. Please bring toiletries, hairdryer and towels. You will need to bring your towels or hire them from the site. In the ensuite glamping pod, cabin and accessible cabin bedding is provided and you will also have a TV/DVD player, speakers and a wardrobe. To reach the lake you will need to walk through the site. Outside the ensuite pods is a purpose-built brick BBQ station for dining al fresco with one disposable BBQ provided. There is also a decking with a table, chairs and parasol for shade. There is even a box outside of the pods for your muddy boots! There is parking outside each of the pods. Handwash, surface spray, cloths and wipes are provided as well as a bin, dustpan and brush. There is WiFi onsite so you can stay connected throughout your stay. Dogs are not permitted in any of the glamping units, but you may see some onsite as dogs are welcome at the campsite.
