About the site


If you want to leave the kids at home and enjoy some much needed relaxation, this adult only park could be just the ticket. Within a 15 minute drive of the New Forest, the coast and Bournemouth, there will be so much to explore right on your doorstep. Glampers have the option of the Kingfisher pod (2.3m x 3.25m), the large camping pods (3m x 4m) and the lodge pods (4m x 3m). All sleep up to two guests with a double bed and a double mattress. Bedding and linen are not provided, so please bring this with you. Simple cooking essentials like a toaster, small fridge, kettle, saucepans, plates, mugs, cutlery, chopping boards, bottle opener, corkscrew, tea towels, tea, coffee and milk sachets are all provided. Outside you will also find an outdoor gas cooking stove. Electric and heating will keep you cosy all year round. For unwinding outside, each pod comes with a private decking area. Here you will find a fire pit (wood can be purchased from reception) and a table and chairs. The lodge and larger pods also have loungers and sun shades, perfect for the peak of summer. All pods have access to shared campsite toilets and showers nearby. The site is also home to a range of camping and touring pitches, yurts and shepherd's huts. The units are all dog friendly, allowing up to two pups each. There is even a large secure dog walking area, a dog wash and a range of treats available from the onsite shop and bar!

Site facilities include shower blocks, available 24 hours a day and free, as well as a laundry room and a dog washing area. There are six separate water stations around the park that use water from a bore hole. There is a pitch and putt available that raises money for charity, plus cycle hire can be arranged in reception.

A shop on site sells the essentials along with camping gas, and you can pick up locally made goodies like cake and biscuits, plus alcoholic drinks and newspapers to order. Free WiFi is available. There are wildlife lakes but fishing is not allowed.

Monty's Bar, an outdoor bar located in the reception area is perfect if you don't feel like cooking. There are mobile takeaways visiting most nights of the week with fish and chips, pizza and barbecues. You can also order freshly baked breakfast pastries for the following day in the shop at reception, where you'll find a range of local produce.

The licensed shop stocks essentials, along with a range of locally produced wines, beers and spirits. There are pubs serving good food within walking distance of the park. In Ringwood you'll find supermarkets like Sainsbury's and Waitrose.

FAQ

Check-in is available from 2pm until 6pm and until 7pm from April to October. If you are going to be delayed please let the site know. Check out is due before 11am on your final day.

On arrival head to reception for your keys and directions to your pod.

No, bedding, linen and towels will need to brought with you as they are not provided by the site. It can get a bit chilly when the sun goes down so please ensure you bring enough bedding to keep you cosy.

Yes, all of the pods at Back and Beyond Touring Park are dog friendly, allowing up to two pups each. The site is surrounded by scenic woodland for walks or there is a large, secure walking area too. There is even a dog wash for those muddy paws! Please note that dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and are not permitted in any of the buildings including reception and the shower blocks.

Yes, there is free WiFi access in the pods however the signal is limited. The reception area has the strongest signal and there is a booster in the amenities block. The site doesn't recommend relying on the WiFi for streaming TV or videos. Mobile signal is strong throughout the park so 4G should be available.

Yes, there are toilet and shower blocks which are available 24 hours a day and free to use. There are also communal laundry facilities, a dog wash, a pitch and putt as well as cycle hire, an onsite shop and an outdoor bar.

No the pods do not have ensuites, there is a shared toilet and shower block just 50m from the pods and an additional amenity block besides reception. The facilities are available 24/7.

No sorry, the pods at Back of Beyond Touring Park do not have access to a hot tub.

You will need to bring towels, bedding, bed linen, toiletries, a torch and basic provisions for self catering. You're also welcome to bring a raised BBQ. The site also recommends bringing tea towels, dishcloths, bin bags and washing up liquid too.

There is a licensed shop in the reception building selling essentials, treats, local produce and coffee. You can also order freshly baked pastries for breakfast.
