About the site

This Scottish Highlands hideaway is a picturesque spot for outdoor adventures, set on the shores of Scotland's longest freshwater loch you can expect brilliant views to wake up to. There are just six camping pods onsite all set on the hillside overlooking Loch Awe. All of the pods have a double glazed glass door at the entrance and a window at the rear of the pod, plus heating to keep you toasty even in Scottish winters! The pods all have lighting, a table with chairs and in the corner is a microwave, kettle, fridge and small ice box. The two person pods feature two single beds and the four person pods feature a double bed, a single bed and a single pull out bed for a child. Perfect for those who want a camping experience without the hassle of hammering in the pegs, you will need to bring bedding, pillows, crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment with you. The site also has the option to hire a sleeping bag and towels if you don't wish to pack your own. Outside each pod is a private decking area for making the most of the loch and mountain views with outdoor seating too. There is also a stone for placing disposable BBQs if you fancy cooking up something yourself. Or, the nearby village has a cafe and bar/grill for dining out (seasonal opening hours). Guests have access to shared facilities in the village which include two individual public toilets and coin-operated showers. There is also coin-operated laundry available. Towards the bank of the loch, there is a communal fire pit, great for nights spent stargazing, toasting marshmallows or meeting other guests. Also in Dalavich, is a social club with pool tables, air hockey and table tennis, great for keeping the kids entertained. The cafe in the village has a little shop attached if you have forgotten any of the essentials. Parking is 20m away from the pods. Dogs are welcome onsite, with two permitted per pod.
