West Auchenhean

Enjoy a peaceful escape or a family adventure at West Auchenhean, set on a working farm just outside of Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park. There are three ensuite glamping pods in a private, fenced area of the farm to make it safe for letting your four legged friends run around. The pods can sleep up to six guests with luxury mattresses, an equipped kitchenette, heating and a private hot tub outside! 30 minutes from Glasgow and Loch Lomond.

Set on the edge of Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park and only 30 minutes from Loch Lomond these pods are ideally situated for outdoor adventures, there is even a cycle track that runs along the bottom of the site for trips into Lochwinnoch. There are just three pods onsite, set in a gated area so dogs can be let off lead without worry. Each pod can sleep up to six guests with a fixed double bed, fixed bunk beds and a sofa bed which converts into a king-sized bed. All have luxury mattresses and all bedding and bed linen is provided. The pods also have a kitchenette with a fridge/freezer, a two zone induction hob, a microwave, a kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans. Perfect for whipping up something tasty after a day of adventure! There is even a Tesco just a ten minute drive away, or of you would prefer to eat out there are multiple pubs also within five mintues. Inside is central heating, free WiFi and a dining table with a bench too. There is an ensuite towards the back of the pod with an electric shower, toilet and sink, towels are also provided. Step outside the pod to find your private decking, complete with an electric hot tub, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Opposite the pods on the gravel area are picnic benches and then on the lawns in front is a fire pit for each pod with log seating. You will also have a charcoal BBQ. You can purchase charcoal and logs from the site or are welcome to bring your own. The site also recommends bringing a torch along for late night walks as well as sturdy shoes if you are hiking. Dogs are also welcome to join you for your stay, the pod area even leads to the back field for long walks. There is a designated parking area just a few metres away.
