Chestnut Meadow Country Park is a family friendly campsite set in the heart of 1066 Country, a five minute drive from the town of Bexhill and a ten minute drive to the beach. There are four heated pods, each sleeping up to two with a picnic bench outside. You won't need to leave the site if you don't want to with an onsite shop and play area. Or, if you do want to explore, there's a bus stop outside so you can leave the car behind!

About the site
Set just ten minutes from Bexhill Beach, this family friendly campsite is ideally located for exploring the South East Coast and 1066 Country with Hastings and Battle within a 15 minute drive. There are four pods set next to each other in a secluded, wooded corner of the campsite. The pods all have a glass door at the entrance with a small porch area for sitting out in the morning with your cuppa. Inside is an electric heater making it the perfect all year round getaway. The pods have a window towards the rear and a double bed inside along with plug sockets and lighting. Bedding is not provided so you will need to bring your own linen, bedding and pillows, or you can hire it from the site. It is like camping minus the tent so if you wish to cook be sure to bring cooking equipment and crockery too. Outside of the pods is a picnic bench, great for dining al fresco or reading a good book. There are also a range of lodges and camping and touring pitches onsite. Toilet and shower facilities are shared with the other guests staying onsite and are located at the opposite side of the field, just a short walk away. Here there is a washing up area, toilets, showers and an accessible bathroom. Inside reception is a well stocked shop, perfect if you've forgotten any essentials, and outside is a gated playground which little ones will love! The car park is in the same field as the pods, just a short walk away. Two of the pods also allow dogs with up to two permitted per pitch, and with the beach so close by it is a brilliant spot for stretching their legs! You're welcome to bring a BBQ just please ensure that it is raised from the ground. The site also offers a birthday hamper, perfect for if you're celebrating!
