Hendre Mynach Camping and Touring Park

Just a 20 minute walk from Barmouth, Hendre Mynach Camping and Touring Park offers a seaside getaway on the edge of Snowdonia National Park (Eryri). You can choose from camping pods with TVs and heating, or the more luxury glamping pod with its own private ensuite. Some are also dog friendly!

About the site

The site is located just on the outskirts of Barmouth, a popular coastal destination on the edge of Snowdonia National Park (Eryri), famed for its seaside charm and expansive sandy beach. Snowdon and top attractions like Portmeirion are also within a 50 minute drive! Each of the camping pods can sleep up to four, furnished with two single beds with mattresses (which are divided by a privacy curtain), plus a double sofa bed. Do note, bedding is not supplied so you will need to bring this with you. Other features of the camping pods include heating, a TV, 10 amp electric sockets, USB ports and a decking where you can admire the views. For those wanting a little more luxury, you can enjoy a stay in the large Gwel yr Bae glamping pod. Also sleeping up to four, the pod comes with a separate bedroom with a double bed, plus a double sofa bed in the open plan living area and an extra sofa just for unwinding. Bedding is not included but can be hired from the site. Gwel yr Bae also features a private kitchenette kitted out with a kitchen sink, microwave, kettle, toaster, hob, oven and fridge. You will also have extras such as a bottle opener, cork screw, tea towels, cooking utensils, crockery, wine glasses, mugs, cutlery and cleaning basics. You will also have a dining table and chairs, plus a TV for watching your morning television. The pod is heated too, and includes a private ensuite with a flushing toilet, shower and hand basin. Do note, towels are not provided. Outside is a large decking area with a table and chairs for dining al fresco, plus a dedicated corner space to safely enjoy a BBQ (not provided). Some of the camping pods and the glamping pod are dog friendly, meaning you can bring up to two dogs along. Onsite you will also find camping and touring pitches, plus three shepherd's huts.
