Whorlton Pods

Nestled on the edge of the North York Moors, Whorlton Pods is popular with keen walkers and cyclists looking to explore the scenic surrounding landscapes. There are just three pods onsite, each enjoying countryside views. They feature a fully furnished, cosy interior with a kitchenette, ensuite, comfy bed and sofa bed. Plus, you will have a private patio with a swing cocoon seat, fire pit and hot tub. Local pubs are also a 20 minute walk away!

About the site

Set in a rural location, this small and scenic glamping site allows guests to enjoy countryside views by day and dark starry skies at night. Located by the North York Moors, the area is also great for outdoor adventures! Topping pod is located closest to the woodland, furthest from the parking area. Foss looks over the open woodland and paddocks, whilst Aiden is bordered by sleepers and a sandstone wall giving a private garden feel. All of the pods are furnished with a double bed with pocket sprung mattresses, bedding and underbed storage for bags. There is also an L-shaped sofa bed that can accommodate either two children or an adult and one child. Any guests staying on the sofa bed will need to bring their own bedding or hire it as a bookable extra from the site. A fully equipped kitchenette provides you with a sink, ceramic double hobs, a fridge, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, teapot and cafetiere. Saucepans, a frying pan, utensils, cutlery, crockery, mugs, glasses and plastic glasses for the hot tub are included too. Kitchen essentials like tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil, washing up liquid, a sponge, and dishcloth will also be ready upon arrival. To the rear of the pod is your own ensuite. This comes kitted out with a flushing loo, corner shower, hand basin, mirror and heated towel rail. Do note, only towels for two and provided and guests will need to bring their own toiletries. At the front of the pod is where you will find the living area with a Smart TV, dining table, chairs, oak drawers and hanging space. All of the pods also come full insulted with thermostatic heating, power and USB sockets, LED lights and a rear window for allowing fresh air in the warmer months. For making the most of the outdoors, each pod has a private stone paved patio. You will have an outdoor table and chairs for dining in the fresh air, along with a swinging cocoon seat, a fire pit with a welcome wood pack and a jacuzzi hot tub! Please note, this site is dog free.
