About the site
With the stunning Sandymouth Bay Beach a ten minute drive from the site, guests can enjoy a relaxing escape to the Cornish coast in one of the site's luxurious roundhouses. Perfect for couples and groups, this award-winning site offers guests a peaceful break from everyday life. Guests can choose from the site's selection of ten roundhouses. If you're looking for a couple's retreat then the Secret and Cynefin roundhouses are a great choice. Both have an open plan layout with a king-size bed in the centre, underfloor heating, an ensuite bathroom and Bluetooth speakers. In the Secret roundhouse guests have access to a private outdoor kitchen in a wooden hut with everything you could need from a hob, fridge, freezer and countertop oven to all of your cutlery and crockery. Inside the Secret roundhouse is also a wood-burner. While in the Cynefin roundhouse the fully-equipped kitchen is inside, there are bi-fold doors and the ensuite bathroom includes a luxurious roll-top bath. If you're looking to bring the whole family along, the site's four roundhouses sleep up to six guests with a double bed and sofa bed as well as a separate bedroom with a bunk bed. While the four Stand Alone roundhouses sleep up to four with a double bed in the main living area and a separate double bedroom. These offer more privacy as they are set in a separate part of the site with screens surrounding the hot tubs. Each roundhouse has a fully equipped kitchenette with an induction hob, oven, fridge, kettle and toaster. All of the cooking utensils, crockery, glasses, mugs and cutlery you need is provided. All the roundhouses also have ensuite bathrooms with a toilet, shower, sink, heated towel rail and hairdryer. All bedding, bed linen and towels are also provided in all of the roundhouses. Each of the roundhouses have their own hot tub and this is electric in the Cynefin and Stand Alone roundhouses and is wood-fired in all of the others. With the wood-fired hot tub guests are provided with a bag of logs and a fire starting kit. The roundhouses all also have their own charcoal BBQ and outdoor seating area. Please make sure to bring along your own charcoal for the BBQ. There are also four cottages onsite. Guests have access to the site's range of great facilities. From the clay pizza oven to the large communal fire pit and Tallet Barn which is an uncover seating area which is available for guests to use. For the little ones, there is a climbing frame onsite as well as the chance to meet the farm animals from Pygmy goats to chickens and geese. There is also The Hive where guests can buy coffees and hot chocolates. You can even order a range of delicious hampers from the site! Dogs are welcome to join you in the two of the roundhouses and two of the stand alone roundhouses.
