About the site

This family-run campsite is set in the heart of the Peak District National Park with the Limestone Way running through the site making it the perfect spot for walkers and cyclists. You'll be staying halfway between the charming towns of Bakewell and Buxton with Chatsworth House a ten minute drive away. Yet, still away from main roads, surrounded by the site's livestock. There are four, hand-made glamping pods, each for adults only and pet free. However, the campsite does have some family and dog-friendly areas so there may be children and dogs around the site. The pods are open plan and set just behind the farm buildings and bordered by flowers and hedging for privacy. Each sleeps up to two with two single beds that can be converted into a double. Bedding is provided. There is also an equipped kitchenette that features a kettle, microwave, single electric hob, a small fridge, and toaster as well as cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. Or, if you don't fancy cooking you can order takeaway breakfasts (8am-9.30am) and homemade pizzas for dinner. The pods are heated, keeping you cosy even in winter with lighting and electric sockets too. There is also a small table and chairs inside the pods for eating. Behind each pod is a raised fenced deck with an electric hot tub, a gas BBQ, sun loungers and a picnic bench. Gas is provided for the BBQ but note that fire pits are not permitted by the pods. There is also a parking spot next to each pod. You will have access to all of the campsite's shared facilities including, hot showers (20p for two minutes), toilets and pot washing areas. There are also electric sockets for hair tools and a shaver point. There is an onsite shop selling basic groceries and sweets where you can pick up ingredients for your evening meal. Or, there are pubs a 40 minute walk away or five minute drive if you don't fancy cooking. Please bring towels and toiletries with you. You may also need a torch for using the facilities at night time.
