About the site
Set on 500 acres of working farmland this peaceful family-run site is just ten minutes from sandy beaches and Alnwick Castle - the filming location of Harry Potter! Meet the friendly onsite animals as you indulge in a luxurious countryside getaway. Escape the hustle and bustle and stay in one of the five ensuite glamping pods surrounded by rolling countryside and miles of field, woodland and lakeside walks. Two of the pods are perfect for a romantic getaway and the other three are equipped for a fun-filled family holiday. The pods are all fully furnished and feature an open plan layout, all of the pods have a king-sized bed and the four person pods have the addition of bunk beds to sleep two little ones. Bedding is provided so no need to bring your own. The two person pods each have a bath beside the king-sized bed so you can enjoy a long soak after your day of exploring! One of the pods even has a hot tub for a night under the starry sky with your loved one. Your pod is equipped with a fully equipped kitchen for those who wish to self-cater, there is a Belfast sink, a two ring gas hob, a fridge/freezer, kettle, cutlery, glasses, mugs, crockery and cooking utensils. So to whip up something tasty you will just need your ingredients! Each of the pods has its own beautifully decorated ensuite shower room with a power shower, loo and sink. Towels are provided so you will just need to pack your toiletries. The living area is fitted with adjustable mood lighting, a dining area for enjoying your meals, there are also comfy sofas facing a Smart TV so you can curl up at the end of the day and watch your favourite series. Take a step outside of your pod onto your private decking area with a BBQ/fire pit and picnic bench for al fresco dining. One of the two person pods has a hot tub so you may wish to bring extra towels or a robe. There are also four unfurnished bell tents and a selection of camping pitches onsite who have access to shared facilities. All of the glamping pods are dog friendly allowing up to two dogs to join you for your stay, just please ensure that they are kept on a lead.
