About the site
Looking for a countryside escape for the family? This site is set just outside of the Lake District National Park making it the perfect base for outdoor adventures with walks available from the pods. You will have uninterrupted views across the farmland from your pod- a great way to finish the day with a glass of your favourite tipple. There are two open-plan pods onsite, each sleeps up to four with a double bed and a double sofa bed for little ones. Bedding is provided for the double bed and sleeping bags for the sofa bed. Pods are also fully equipped for self-catering with kitchenettes complete with a fridge, microwave, hob, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery. All you need to bring is the food and drink! Both have modern ensuite bathrooms with a loo, shower and sink. Towels and toiletries are provided. Heated to keep cosy all year round, the pods are a perfect spot no matter the time of year. You will also have a Freeview TV, Bluetooth speakers and a dining table and chairs. Outside you'll find a private decking with seating that looks out across countryside views as well as a grass area with picnic benches and goalposts to keep the little ones entertained. Fire pits and BBQs are available to hire and one of the pods has a wood-fired hot tub available for that added touch of luxury. There is also parking next to each pod. If you are celebrating during your stay, you can make your stay that extra bit special by adding a birthday or anniversary pack to your booking. Wood for the fire pit and hot tub is also available to purchase. Dogs are not permitted due to the working farm location
