Carrock Glamping Pods

Carrock Glamping Pods is a peaceful, adult only spot in the Lake District National Park set on a working farm. There are three fully furnished pods, complete with ensuites and kitchenettes. You'll be 20 minutes from Keswick and Ullswater making this site a great base for the Northern Lakes. You can end the day soaking up the stunning view of Carrock Fell from your wood-fired hot tub, cosying up around the fire pit and toasting marshmallows.

Set on a working farm in the Lake District National Park, this site offers ultimate relaxation with its remote location, wood-fired hot tubs and views towards grazing sheep and Carrock Fell. Whether you're looking to simply unwind and reconnect with a loved one or want a comfortable base for your walking holiday this site is a perfect fit. Your pod will be fully insulated with heating and double-glazed windows and doors so you'll be warm and cosy all year round. The pods have open plan interiors complete with an ensuite bathroom, a dining table an enclosed porch with seating and a TV. Carrock Squirrel pod also has Bluetooth speakers. Each of the pods sleeps up to two with Carrock Sunset and Carrock View pods having a double bed and Carrock Squirrel having a king-sized bed. Bedding is provided. The smaller pods have a kitchenette whereas, Carrock Squirrel has a galley kitchen towards the back of the pod. All are complete with an electric hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge with a freezer compartment. You will also have some tea and coffee supplies to get you started. Whilst the water from the tap has been drunk by the locals for many years, it has not yet been cleared for public consumption so the site provides some bottled water. You will also have a modern ensuite with a shower, sink and loo with toiletries, robes, slippers and towels provided. Carrock Squirrel features a slightly larger shower. Your enclosed porch is the perfect spot to leave your outdoor gear to dry off before the next day's adventures. Unwind from the day in your wood-fired hot tub that sits next to the pod, the site will get it all fired up for you, just let them know a preferred time! Outside your pod you will find a patio with a picnic bench and a fire pit with a grill, there is also a covered, communal BBQ area behind the pods free for all guests to use. There is also a parking spot next to each pod. Sorry, no dogs are allowed. The site is also in a very remote spot in the Lakes, so the phone signal is limited and there is no WiFi.
